Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I am glad the 40th edition has bushings. Your call if you want to add bearings. The bushings look a little more authentic to me, because nobody I knew at 10-14 years old went out and bought bearings. True... we just bought Losi kits that already came with them. :P  Not all of them.... I rememb...

Re: My First Traxxas Blue Eagle Restoration Project
Looks trick! Totally agree, when Traxxas dropped the racing "program" and went full RTR bashing on 6s, they jumped the shark. The Blue (Red) Eagle is one of my favorites. It represents a time when Traxxas was really trying to stay competitive, releasing new kits and packaged conversion kit...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
This is really cool news. I think I'm going to pass though and wait for the generic RC10 without the etching and special box/stand or a load of replacement parts. ........but,will that happen? BUY NOW! What happened to $335 MSRP on the end of a kit box, and then picking it up at the LHS for $...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I was looking to see if any spare parts are being made available and came across this. Available late May? What the heck?!? . 1000010590.png Did they go back to the original exterior "look". The '93 WC rere cases had that bit of webbing, yeah? Looks drilled for both (chassis). Cool ...

Classic 80's. Sorry, no apologies. rblt2EtFfC4 None needed. I didn't know Prince and Michael Jackson had beef bitd. The James Brown incident is pretty interesting. Something about Michael upstaged Prince, then Prince fell down trying to swing on a lamp post that wasn't bolted down, further embarras...

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?
Now I need some help. It moves kinda fast at idle. I feel like it might be idling too fast causing the clutch to grab and move the truck? How do I slow down the idle? sounds like you need to shorten up to the 1mm gap mentioned above by RJ with the idle screw. You have a picture of inside the carb a...

Re: gold 8-32 aluminum screw alloy?
Outside of corrosion or authenticity is there a reason to use aluminum? Am rebuilding my gold pan and sourced coated steel screws with the odd countersink. Is that going to cause an issue? It's not going to be a boat so the coating should be enough to keep from galvanic corrosion though I plan to w...

Lemme guess.....the "Kong". What I want to know is, is it my fault or their fault for me immediately thinking "sex toy" upon seeing the Kong for the first time?

Re: M.A.N.E Eclipse
My theory is Mr. Stormer wants to maintain some sort of mystery so he doesn't get slammed from both sides with, "golly oh gee, wouldja' couldja'?"
Or, it's two separate entities.

Team Moo 20240409_184130.jpg TeamMoo.JPG Is that 2nd pic your truck, or a magazine pic of the original Team Moo RC10GT? Gravel is the same as the top pic, Knowing RJ that’s definitely his truck, has definitely dropped a bomb with this one, glad my next build isn’t finished, no chance against this b...
