Re: How to decrease rear track on a Dual Sport?

Things are coming along, lol I had some front and rear arm 3D printed and I am using a set of Tamiya dogbones. I will post some more recent photos over the weekend. http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag114/dennisbaxter2/General%20Lee/thumb_IMG_5960_1024_zpsoxx5shol.jpg http://i1301.photobucket.com/...

Re: TL01 General Lee project

Cool, I see what you did there.

I am working on a similar build.

Walmart GL on an RC10 DS chassis.

I am gonna go with velcro or magnetic stealth mounts.

I just need to figure out what kind to get.

Velcro or Magnetic Body Mounts

Does anybody have experience using velcro or magnetic body mounts?

I have noticed that they are frequently used on drift cars.

I am trying to find a set for my RC10 DS.

Any suggestions?

Re: How to decrease rear track on a Dual Sport?

Here are some pics of the Tamiya doggone installed on my DS. I will be able to eliminate another 4mm of track width once I get my shorter arms so they just might work. http://s1301.photobucket.com/user/dennisbaxter2/media/General%20Lee/IMG_5465_zpsirxnot67.jpg.html http://s1301.photobucket.com/user/...

Re: How to decrease rear track on a Dual Sport?

The Tamiya dog bones came in today but unfortunately, they are a bit short.

I am going to try the adjustable dog bones and see how they work out.

Re: Need Help Picking an ESC & Motor

The Stealth can handle just about any motor, if built correctly! Even though your DS may or may not have a slipper, a slipper would be best for anything lower than a 8.5 or 8. Nothing in that list is too much for a Stealth using a 7.4 volt lipo. 11.1 may be another thing if you like to punch the ga...
