Re: YZ10 Works 92' aka SuperDogFighter
Great looking car. I have a backup 94 that has a similar amount of blue bling. Get it running. You guys have so many nice cars but I see very little running. I think we all need to start posting in action shots/vids. My 96 Pavids is ready to go along with my primary 94....though I guess I am cheatin...

Re: Modded Dogfighter
Actually the Pavidis was in amazingly good condition under the dirt. I would call what I did a cleaning vs a restoration. I think yours might be in the same category...depends on whether you want a shelf queen or a runner; mine will be a carpet runner. Wow, great car. Commands a great price as well....

Wow, great car.
Commands a great price as well...
With a very little amount of effort that car could be cleaned up and running.
I am about to restore a 95 Pavidis YZ10 that is in similarly dirty condition. Simple green and WD40 fixes everything:)

Hello
Wow, very cool!
My setup is supposed to promote a similar level of contact between the belt and the pulley but your mount does it a much cleaner way.
Regards

Re: Its a Yz-10 - but which one?
I love that motor mount. I have never experienced any skipping on my front belt. But I definitely roast rear belts if I use it any other way than shown on my runner. I can add some shims to angle the diff box back to tension the belt more but with my configuration I an getting much better engagement...

Re: Its a Yz-10 - but which one?
Hello
Just a quick note.
I just rebuilt my rear diff and its back to being silky smooth.
But in the process I found that the rear belt is in great condition after all the abuse I put it through...the belts suggestion above is great for this car.

Re: Its a Yz-10 - but which one?
Hello Its the right length 192mm, 64 teeth (The Yok ZC-656 belt has 64 teeth.). I adjusted the link that helps maintain the tension on the belt...that and a little stretch due to use allowed me to do this. I will admit that the belt is on the tighter side of things but it still has some slack. My go...

Re: Its a Yz-10 - but which one?
Hello I wish I would have seen the light back in the day to buy up a few Yoks. They cost a small fortune right now. A NIB kit just sold for around 800 bucks on eBay. Before that I bought up the last 2x 94 yoks on eBay and another one due an inquire based on a picture in an ad on eBay. I am absolutel...

Re: Its a Yz-10 - but which one?
Its a 95 (Mark) Pavidis YZ10.
Great car.
One observation, I expected the steering rack to use a carbon plate vs that bent wire.
I wish I could be lucky and score stuff at a good price...I had to sell my soul to score my 3x 94 YZ10's but man do they look sharp in my man cave:)

Re: 94 YZ10 CVDs?
Hello Yeah the mint car stays on the shelf. I have 3 total 94 YZ10's. The standby runner is in much better shape than my primary car; the standby car is actually in amazingly good condition as well and has a lot of Pavidis upgrades (from far away it looks just like my Mint car which looks just like ...

Re: 94 YZ10 CVDs?
Hello I am using a 10.5 Novak ballistic and it is very powerful for this car. The car is very fast, seems to keep up quite well with modern stuff and do quite well on a modern track with huge ramps. I am amazed at how much power a sensored controller can unload into the drive train...if I am an idio...

94 YZ10 CVDs?
Hello All
My brushless setup us roasting my stock steel drive shafts.
If there a CVD set that I could buy that would allow me to use my stock hubs and wheels.

Re: KO Propo PS-1001 Servo YZ10
Curious, how do the JR NES-1001 compare to the KO Propo PS-1001?
They are similarly as old. The obvious difference is the JR does not have the 4th wire; I was wondering if the servo was the same but ran on a 6v bus.
Thanks

KO Propo PS-1001 Servo YZ10
Hello All I am in process to putting together my shelf queen 94 YZ10. So far I have a super mint box art 94 YZ10 and Novak 410-HPc. I decided to use an Orion SV2 BB 10x2 since the angled brushes look cool but I may switch to the Reedy 10x2 motor later and if I can find one. For those that have used ...
