Re: Andy's Pro Race restoration with Pro-Steer rack and pini
Love the car and the build, but that red front body mount is just killing the look. Do you have a white or black one to put on there?

Re: Anyone got a Mini Z Optima?
I have a mini Z Optima, and I'm happy with it. You gotta take into account the limitations of packaging everything into such a small space, you aren't going to get everything perfect. I take mine on work trips and race it around the hotel room, using books as jumps. I have another Mini Z car that I ...

Re: One thread for all my junk...
I always hate selling stuff, because either way you do it, it becomes a PITA. The only way it's not a pain is to sell to a friend.

Because you'd still need a place for the diff.

Losi mini T is closer to 1/14 scale. I have one.

Use the lower half of the body, and leave the upper roof parts exposed, and use your roof section....just like real buggies.

Re: Better 6-gear transmission spur/slip assembly?
Unless you have a rare unmolested car that you don't plan on ever actually using, drilling the holes for a stealth tranny isn't really a detriment if done right. Or pick up a spare chassis, they are relatively cheap even new.

Re: Better 6-gear transmission spur/slip assembly?
As some have said, the only upgrade is to go to a stealth transmission. If you're actually running the car, it's the way to go regardless. I'm also one of those people who eliminates the slipper if possible.

Battery strap looks like a cut down B4 piece. I assume the rear shock towers are relatively common, as I have one too.

Re: How light could you get an RC10?
That would explain how they can cut the ribs into the can without sacrificing a 540's inner workings, because it's not a 540 inside. I have one like that too, and never thought about it being a 380. Has plenty of power though.
Now someone needs to take an actual 380 and mount it into their car.

Gotta be a rare tub. Makes me wonder just how early of an A stamp that car is?

Re: How light could you get an RC10?
Just as an aside, the RC10 isn't much heavier than a B5M. I recently weighed many of my cars, and the RC10 was within a very close amount to a B5M. So all the work could be for naught, unless you just happen to want the lightest RC10 because it suits you fancy, which is fine. Still, try the 380 moto...
