Re: Best Budget Friendly Touring Platform Out Right Now
MST TRC is not a bad choice, I have had 2, and they are a surprisingly good FWD contender on the track thanks to their lightweight construction. Getting parts can be an issue indeed. Another good solution is to find a used top-notch mainstream TC from a few years back - Xray ages better than anythin...

Wow thanks for getting back to this one, just went through all of it from the start. What a phenomenal build !! Digging the black Novak with custom decal 8) Thank you Sir for the kind comment, glad you like it. In the end, this yielded that crazy sight: https://zupimages.net/up/22/07/dlfg.jpg Doug ...

Re: My First Affair
Thanks for sharing the update - yes, that body is too pretty to mount it on the standard, not so functional mounting system indeed!!! Looking forward to your final solution if any as I am rebuilding a shelfer (with a masterly-painted body... that someone else did for me too!) and a runner, so for th...

Re: Club 10 diff
Hello firends, Reviving an old thread and asking for help here - thanks in advance :) I am rebuilding my own Storm from last millenium. In the meantime I also bought another one for spares, which is proving to be almost new so it will go on the shelf once rebuilt too  Mine's diff was stuck ...

Then it needed to become black... Nylon dye works really really well actually. https://zupimages.net/up/22/05/e82n.jpg I love Novak's legendary orange, but Tony Neisinger started it ~40 years ago so please blame it on him rather than me  To note: the black reveals a LOT of the imperfections on ...

Re: The car now stands on all fours... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
Hi folks Long overdue update on this project (wow, 1.5+ years)... Long story short, the cosmetics took a huge time to crack and much more work than expected. The mechanics were the easy part in the end  And some life events came in between, which didn't help  First, a huge thanks to Do...

Re: Pistons that fit in older TRX shocks?
Hi Mark Thanks for your help - good to see some pillars of the forum still around. Appreciate the help on 1965's, thanks. My beef with the stock Pistons (which I have in my shocks) is that they have ZERO pack, even with the lowest-size "indent" one... So I was hopeful some more race-orient...

Pistons that fit in older TRX shocks?
Hello Friends, Does anyone know of readily (or not too hardly...) available pistons that work in the old-school (trx-1, Eagle and the likes) traxxas shocks? The AE pistons are bigger as I found out... the shock bodies are a very similar size outside but the thickness of the body is much higher on th...
