Cleaning/Restoring Steel Tirods
So I have a TON of old steel tirods that have just accumulated in the tool box (usually upgraded to titanium). I read some thread (of course I forgot to save it) about cleaning and then doing a heat and an oil quench. So of course I went off to youtube to watch some videos. I removed a bunch of rust...

Re: Spare/used parts/OIN Mid Motor RC10 build
unless I missed it, what material did you use for the 3d printed arms? And general printer settings? I always wanted to try printing my own arms (which would involve me stopping playing w/ RC cars and finish my "new" 3d printer or at least fixing the "old" one).

Introduction
Trying to get back into the game, but I have so many hobbies that I don't have time for with a toddler at home... I haven't raced or even played around that much in probably 12 years. Part of the reason I went into Mechanical Engineering in college was my love of building and designing things, under...

You'll find the others eventually they were just not as popular From the associated website: https://www.teamassociated.com/downloads/evolution-of-rc10-buggy.html That's awesome! I just was trying to figure out what my 1st RC10 was and from that link it must have been the #6016 kit... What a great ...

Re: Servo Survey
For my "old" cars I picked up some Hitec metal gear servos for playing around and I know they work good w/ my old radio gear. While I was at it, I bought kimbrough servo savers for them as well. Since I'm not sure if they'll end up in a RC10, a DS, or a 10LSS... For the new B6/B6D that I h...

reverse rotation brushed motors
Anyone know a good source for a reverse rotation brushed motor? ROAR91 stock. I have an Superior Racing Spectre Left-side-drive pan car and all my LSD motors are pretty trashed from racing them so much. They were pretty hard to find back then even. I think what I had were some Trinity Green Monsters...

Looks awesome. I have collected several older DS kits and random parts over the last few years. Hoping to start my own restoration project later this winter.

2speed conversion for stealth tranny
I had picked up a used/abused RC10 awhile back and last night I was looking at it again and realized it had a different top shaft on the tranny. Looking in the random bag that came with it I found some parts that looked like they were from one of those two speed stealth transmission conversions. Any...

cleaning up old tires
Anyone have some good tips for helping clean up / restore old tires to make them look better? 1) how to help get tires unglued? 2) how to help get the glue off the rubber? 3) How to get the rubber looking clean? I have some tires that have some reddish clay that just WILL NOT come off around the spi...
