Re: TBG bodies?

It's due to shrinkage I'm told. The mold should be made oversize to account for it but its a major step up in time needed to do it.

Re: TBG bodies?

Agreed, very good people there (I know there are hard feelings from the past with many longstanding members here- I can only speak from my one year history with them and its been flawless). I never hesitate to look there first.

Re: TBG bodies?

Yeah I have also seen that on my maxxum ff gear cover and a losi gear cover, they are too undersized to fit correctly. If you have one that fits properly you got lucky  with the body's and wings its bit a huge deal if the size is slightly off but with the gear covers its a pain

Re: TBN bodies?

If you mean TBG (team Bluegroove) they are actually very structural- usually stronger than the originals, but tend to lack the fine details and sharp lines. They are also slightly undersized which is a problem on bodies that have accessories that need to fit properly. Examples of those would be the ...

Re: Big Brute help

That's a little different take on the system but looks ok to me. The steering may bind a tad at extremes but it wasn't a great setup to begin with.

Re: something a little different

It also looks very narrow and that may be playing with your eyes a bit. If there are DS dogbones in there it is pretty narrow!

I like it. The narrow rear goes great with the narrow front. We just aren't used to seeing them that way

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got SCREWED! lol. Well, kind of. Shipping was 1.69 but fastner express charges 6.99. Meh. Still worth it. The black screws look just like losi screws. The plain screws will get anodized along with some nuts and washers from McMaster Carr.

Looks great! Does your anodizer call that gold or orange? We have had some debates  my guy calls it orange and gold is more like the early rc10 champaign chassis.

Re: Big Brute help

I've used turnbuckles & 4.8mm ball studs & cups for most of my cars. Stronger, almost zero slop, and easier to adjust. Your really gonna hate the way kyosho designed this one It's basically a rack, the servo had a post off the huge servo saver that keys into the rack. Op, are you just missi...
