Painted the body today
absolute disaster , poor choice of colours and tried and failed at a new masking technique , really dreadful ,not sure if I'm ever going to show it
I literally just ordered another in disgust !

Its so familiar to drive that its odd , not driven any Hotshot for 35 years ! I guess its why I like the Mini Mustang so much because it drives so much like my old Hottie !

Thinking about dyno's for brushed motors
When I was a lad I never had the money to spend on a Dyno and probably never saw the need at my level but now I find myself curious about them , I guess I'm trying to work out how curious in relation to cost ! I have an inductive loop digital amp clamp and a simple laser rpm meter is only about £10 ...

Once you can print in nylon and carbon fibre nylon then the strength is good enough , you do still have to design or modify designs for the printing process , I've literally printed an entire car less the metal parts , see my Yo-clone-oh project .

Rapid prototyping used to be all they were good for but the target for the technology is way beyond that , the motor manufacturer industry is investing in the tech for the parts market , instead of a warehouse full of slowly moving parts they aim to have 3d printers to make the part on site in a mat...
