Re: A '91 Stealth RC10 project
Thanks. The photos are terrible; the parts actually look smoother than they appear in the photos. I'd decreased the dept of cut and adjusted the speed and feed rate on the final pass to give the parts a fine surface finish. That small pile of parts took me an insane number of hours to turn. If I had...

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
That looks really good. Did you dye all the printed parts or are you leaving them as is to naturally yellow?

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
The wiring.....nailed it!!!
And the 3 color paint scheme is solid AND appealing.
Great variety among these different interpretations of the '91 car.
Great choice.

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
Looks like an exceptionally nice clone -- well done sir! In fact, if it wasn't so clean, you might believe that it's Rick's actual car. Very cool!!
What were the two extra holes in the front shock tower used for?

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
...at first I was like, "this is awesome". Then I scrolled through again and was like, "this is awesome". Then I bounced to another thread and came back to this one again and was like, "this is awesome"! I always loved the Hohwart paint scheme on his '91 Stealth. ...

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
I agree, the car looks great! It's a shame about the body. Just remember, with these replica builds, it's virtually impossible to achieve absolute perfection but I think you've come very close. 8) I guess if it were mine, I'd go ahead and finish the body and use it as a placeholder until something b...

Re: Nix91 - Rick Hohwart replica
That is a gorgeous replica! How much do Nix91 chassis sets go for? I know they don't come up as often, but the few that make limited runs, is it easy to expect over $200 for the chassis, top deck, and shock towers?
