Re: Subaru Impreza rally car build
Nice cars, winner_evo. That first one looked so realistic, I was thinking, "Damn, that house has big bricks!"

Re: Subaru Impreza rally car build
Well, I guess that makes three of us. I looked at that Lancia a very long time before I realized it was a model. :D That T/A looks amazing as well; I'd like to see more of that car. Anyway, there's one final modification to the Scooby that I’d like to cover. The body came from Tamiya with bod...

PK Corally 1/12 Car Build
Hello all, I've decided to build my PK Corally NIB kit and thought I would share the process step by step. Released back in 1986, this was the first 1/12 car from PK Model Racing. The 'P' and 'K' of PK Model Racing represented the family names of owners Constant Paul and Jan van Kooij. This car was ...

Re: AYK - Magnum 480R motor
Thanks for the questimate about the turns winner_evo.
That AYK looks great, especially with a 480 in the back. Would love to see the body.
I have the same chassis and car to build, if I ever get around to it.
How do you find the motor?

Re: XL/XLS CAT or Original CAT SWB
Wow, what a pain! Sorry for your troubles. The eccentrics were revised to ease assembly - not a bad thing, that's for sure. I'd reckon that the front diff was a bit of an afterthought. The original car came with a spool and one-ways so when they added the diff, the case halves required revision. I ...

Phil Davies’ Procat replica build
I’ve been working on this Phil Davies replica Procat build for the last few months, working from the feature on the car from the Radio Race Car magazine. It’s slowly getting there and I’ve tried to get all the small details correct with the metal plate behind the front gear box adjuster, front roll ...

Re: Le Mans motor restorations
This is the hardest Le Mans to find, Period...unless u have an original Turbo Scorpion. Its the Holiest of Holy Grails! Adjustable timing/bushings just like a 600e. Its all original, factory brushes, barely ran (not rebuilt) but does of a new MCI decal received_1120107675081240.jpeg received_7281952...

Re: Yokomo 870C 2.2 Narrow Front Wheels Available.
I’ve spoken to JC Racing on this topic, they will check and rectify this tolerance issue with the next production run. They were pretty happy with the fit believing it to be comparable to other manufacturers tolerances but will address and tighten it up. I have quite a few sets of the front wheels f...
