Re: shapeways: professional or versatile?
looking at the website and the datasheets, the professional is multi-jet (HP) technology powder, intended to be used for the HP printers. the versatile plastic is for the SLS process and the non HP printers. both materials are polyamide, aka nylon, but there are a number of formulas. their mechanica...

I know this is an old thread but I've finally got an answer for it! The belt is an XL profile, 1/4" wide, 25 tooth.

Tamiya”ish” F-150 2wd Baja Truck
The Start: I've always liked the Tamiya F-150 body, since it was my first rc car (Blackfoot) and I've always wanted to do something out of the box with it....I've had this body for a couple of years, not knowing what to do with it, until I had this leftover Lunchbox transmission, that I couldn't sta...

Re: Ultima LWB
Wow Doug! That's advanced modelling right there. I don't think I'd manage the body like you did. Thank you sir. Coming from you, that is very high praise indeed. Kyosho makes creating 3d models of their parts less difficult than it otherwise would be by providing very good illustrations in their in...

Re: Ultima LWB
I’ve had a chance to run the car and thought I’d post an update. P1010570.JPG The shocks fitted to the car came from an Ultima Pro. As received, they were in great shape and leak free so I didn’t bother to open them. On the bench, dampening seemed to be about right. On the track, however, they were ...

You need to take some stack out of area between the knuckle and ball end. Drop the links and make them almost parallel to the arms. That would be right if the steering links were roughly the same length as the upper links and if he were fighting toe out. But he is figthing toe in: because his steer...
