I think that we can all agree, on both points.

Re: RC10T2 Ebay score

You can swap the entire caster and steering block arrangement from a Traxxas Bandit with a little grinding. Just use the wider truck axles and wide hexes.

You can also use the parts from a Stampede, Slash, or Rustler, but they require a little more work.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Anyone that likes big city stuff needs a head exam...sorry Thumbs I think that we can all agree, on both points. That's a hasty generalization. I personally disagree, but I respect that RC10Talk is not the forum to get into my opinions on why, or to make slights at the members who think differently...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finally got the body trimmed for this one. Would have been sooner but the first body had some noticeable defects in it, so I had to wait on a replacement (shout out to Amain!). Its a JConcepts Protector but I decided on a different wing. I think the Finnisher wing is a little too pretentious for a s...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Did a little work on an ORV (Brat, hopefully) project. Painted the transmission side plates and assembled it with a new housing. Also added an AmPro skid plate. Screenshot_20230428_204023_Gallery.jpg The Frog diff is assembled with re-re outdrives and the "Old Frogshot" mod. The idle gear ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Got some more Hobbico servos. I know that they are just old Hitecs but the Hobbicos just look cooler. I already have some of the CS-70MG, and they are awesome. I think they are the same as the 645MG. But I thought that CS-64 looked cool. All my others are Command series. Screenshot_20230501_225130_...

Re: ID this RC10T

rwordenjr wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 12:51 pm The arms are correct ?
Yes, later 10T's had the back arms, same as used on the T2.

Most of my 10T's ( 4 of 5) have those arms. The other has the V2 white arms.

Re: Customs Delay?

For whatever reason, packages from Canada seem to take longer than any other.

While packages from Great Britain seem to zip right through.

New Reedy Radon

I was looking through some of my motors and noticed the similarities between the current Reedy Radon motors and an Integy brushed motor. Other than removing the "HG MOTOR" and "CHINA" labeling, the endbells are nearly identical. Screenshot_20230508_141836_Gallery.jpg I also notic...

Re: RC10 Buggy but 3D printed

Nose and wing tubes are easily made with K&S 83060 tubing.

JConcepts, JC Racing, and Dynotech all sell the aluminum front axles.

JC Racing makes rear universals in both (3/16 and 1/4) sizes and Custom Works has CVD's in 3/16.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Got some 3D printed parts from Word of Prints, on Ebay. Screenshot_20230510_135858_Gallery.jpg A couple sets of Duratrax Evader tires and inserts, just because they are different. Screenshot_20230510_135914_Gallery.jpg And another shipment from Nitro Hobbies. ORV parts for a couple different project...
