Re: Thinking of vintage racing my RC10
It's not hard to find rc10 parts. It's hard to pay the going rates for them.

Rc10t style one piece carbon fiber build
Starting on the next build. A 10t style single piece carbon fiber frame build. Let’s see if I learned enough to make a more complicated piece.
Already it’s more complicated due to the shape of the tub. The curves just don’t lay down fabric well at all.

Re: Anyone Have Some Sanyo (red) SCR NiCads Sitting Around?
Nevermind. I found enough random pics to put something together.
Interesting sign of the times looking at the various pics of the relatively same battery. Modern versions tell you to recycle or dispose of properly .................. old versions tell you not to throw them in fire.

Re: Anyone Have Some Sanyo (red) SCR NiCads Sitting Around?
Well, stickers came out okay except for two things. I don't know how to spell rechargeable and the paper is way too glossy. Apparently, clear matte sticker paper is difficult to find, but I will come up with something.

Re: Losi XX4 Modern Racer build
Great info. Thanks Mark!
I've seen some folks replace the metal drive pins with the same length of weedwacker line. It holds up well and doesn't deform the titanium outdrives. I'm going to give it a try.
Good idea on the fronts. After I see how it lays out, I may try it.

Re: Futaba AM radio and Airtronics compatible receiver?
That Dynamite MicroPro has old style Airtronics servo sockets, so it should need a Airtronics crystal. I have two, Futaba and Airtronics versions. The manual says to use crystals that match the transmitter. But be mindful, old style Airtronics plugs had the positive and negetive wires in reverse or...

Ok. This is what I have. When I opened it I noticed it was a double turn. Can and end bell match this too. Thanks a bunch

Re: Losi xxx4 front diff questions
Welp, it seems like I no longer have the xxx-s as I cannot find it. I still have the jrx-s but yeah...day and night differences there. Once all the dust cleared I had bought the one from valkarie one and an hour later received a PM from Spain that he would sell me the pair he had so now I'm not sure...
