Re: Masking curved pin striping lines

I totally recommend liquid mask, especially for curved lines and/or lines that go through corners or difficult-to-reach niches. I've used the best pinstriping tape money can buy (3M vinyl fine line tape in various widths) and they ALL let paint bleed through, especially when you try to curve the tap...

Re: Masking curved pin striping lines

Oldskool trick of avoiding paintbleed under tape is to seal the edge with clear before shooting colour.
PS Matte Clear would work.

Re: The Vintage 1/8 Onroad Thread

My MARKER CARS Chassis Pan car. And Associated and RC250 club car. I've personally owned the Marker since about 1972. Bought it at Trost Hobby Shop in Chicago. Bought it to Race the circuits but didn't work out as planned. Just raced some local area races. Some years later I bought my Associated ca...

Re: Old School A Stamp/6 gear resto

It looks to be in better shape than most of the junk that I buy.

Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists

Futaba used to offer these two spec lists for their older discontinued receivers and servos. Now they're only available through the Internet Archives site. That's a bit of a pain. So I decided to edit them a bit, and post them here for easier reference. FutabaDiscreceivers.png FutabaDiscServos.png

Re: painting advice Masking and Caps

Lighter fluid will turn the adhesive loose without damaging the paint. I've used it with paper towels and q-tips to clean up edges.

THE VINTAGE MONEY PIT

After some years I figured I should put up a gallery. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of build timeline pics that a lot of you guys have, but going forward I'll try my best as they're very helpful. I have a decent amount of car and trucks to post which will take some time.

Re: So You're Into RC Cars. WTF Else Do You Do?

I'm into a lot of various things. Truth be told I probably have too many hobbies. I use to be a big muscle car guy/gearhead pretty much my whole life, have had numerous GTO's, Chevelles, and an old t bird. spent about 30 yrs into cars. Started building an all tube chassis / fiberglass body 69 GTO to...
