Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2024 ** - Winner - coxbros1
A Michael Schumacher tribute RC would be cool! I'd be on the fence about whether to use an ESC or an MSC... 🤔 I don't remember him driving the 7UP car. That's interesting! He only ran it once. His race debut was in that Jordan. He qualified really well (6th) but the clutch failed and he D...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
There has to be a story behind the front license plate. It is different in one of the photos. I wonder if Jay crashed the car at some point or maybe it just took a beating. The front plate matches the rear in most pics, but shows damage in some.

She makes custom decals. If you ask, she will make them in "reverse", so they go on the inside of the lexan.

Re: Ruined GT paint - attempt to fix
Nice recovery! I like the marble effect. It would be nice if the red and blue were not so subdued.

Re: What color was the Peak Performance Son of Psycho?

Re: 1/10 Scale On-Road - Chassis Options in 2024
If I were a GM guy, I would buy one of the Kyosho kits just on principle. They are all gorgeous. Muscle car porn. Great selection, too. Some are the staples- 69 Camaro, 57 Bel Air, but you can also pick a Fleetside, a Riviera (!), an El Camino... Throw in Kyosho quality, competitive price, and the p...

Re: Land Speed Rocket Car
Are you planning to remove some downforce? It is only going to increase as speed increases. Already dragging its a$$ at "only" 96 mph.
Such an awesome project! I gotta think of an excuse to go to Evansville

Re: Magnetic DC Power Coupler - Quick Connect for LED's
Olight uses those connectors on many of their flashlights. Great idea!
I have magnetic body mounts on my crawler. They look great and are much easier to use than pins. The strength is incredible pulling straight but the slightest force sideways and they separate very easily.

Re: Anyone ever used these speedworks motors before?
I had the "350". It did well for what it was. They were budget motors.
Someone in the marketing department was a Chevy guy.

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
Are you doing any of the old racer tricks, like clamping the leaves in front of the axle and un-clamping the rear?
