Re: Duratrax tire flyer
Neato :) I scanned and uploaded one from 1992 that's a little different: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=43983 Also a tire/wheel fitment chart from 1989 that I could have done a better job with: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=43414 Diamond Spikes were such a cool tread pattern. Re: MRP Krazy 8 Ad
Just when I think I know about every older R/C out there, something new pops up. I'm guessing it's exceedingly rare as I've never seen one before. From the looks of it, they designed a different chassis for the Drag'n Master with some sort of weight transfer mechanism.

Re: MRP Drag'n Master Ad
I remember it all because I was there! :D I was a major fan, and my parents would bring me to the monster truck and pulling shows frequently in the '80s to early '90s. I had the magazines, posters, toys, video games, VHS videos, etc... There was even a cartoon called Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines....

Re: Barn Find!
The guy traded you both Clods for your TRX4 or just the JPS one?
You don't know the significance of what you have there? Obviously the person you traded with didn't as they just gave away their house for a tent.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the old motors were the same on the outside with only the armatures changing. The only way to identify the specs in those cases is to take them apart to inspect the armature. I wouldn't do that on nice motors though as you risk marring them. We have an extensive guide th...

Re: Currently Watching
I watched Appleseed (1988 anime) last night for the first time on a TV, and especially enjoyed it. I've seen it through a computer monitor several times over the last decade or so but that really didn't do it justice comparatively.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
I can relate! It's one of the reasons why I enjoy sleeping into the afternoon. The less I'm awake during the day, the less I have to put up with. Hey, it works.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Something good happened to me pertaining to eBay today which was nice. I've been trying to remove a forced dash out of my username for years now, and it finally let me. :D Every time I've tried to it's given me an error of "Your username can only include letters, numerals, periods, asterisks, u...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
The more the sun was blocked here, the cloudier it caused the entire sky to become until you could barely see anything at all.
Still super cool though!

Re: Anyone know how to ship from US to Aus/NZ?
How do you ship to Australia or New Zealand from the US? Do you just staple the package to a wombat or something? Apparently a couple of guys, presumably both named "Bruce", want my Storm 2000. Don't make me come over there.... download.jpg "I see you've played knifey-spooney before....

Re: Forum News & Discussion
Since yesterday, site speed has been excessively slow. I wasn't overly concerned about it as it occasionally happens and then clears up. It's been over 24 hours now, and still hasn't improved any so I checked the server monitor which indicated max load. History tells me we're potentially experiencin...
