I have found that the Axial 20t top gear fits the TRX gearbox perfectly. It's made of metal - so much better than the plastic parts and its cheap . Here's a little mod that I did to overcome the sloppy hinge pin holes in the +/- 1 degree mounts to give myself some tuning options. I still need to glue the tires and set camber etc but it's done. Overall I think it turned out pretty good, it's as close to box art as I can get it.

I have purchased a used Rascal ball diff with conventional outdrives. I'll report back if they fit the 50T 48DP cougar 2000 diff.

Finished the build minus the body, used all new/very good electronics, all Futaba, as per the box. Enjoy!
I haven't decided if I'm going to tackle the body or have a pro do it. Not a terribly difficult scheme, but I'd hate to mess up.
