TRX-1 "Shelfer": FINISHED
I think I am finally satisfied with the condition to which I have gotten this thing. Got the electronics dialed in. I was going for a clean layout. I soldered the motor plug off the esc at a reverse angle for wire control purposes. The esc platform is a hacked up original TRX-T Eagle rear shock towe...

Re: Who else loves the Stadium Blitzer?
......... My RC10 only ran about 10 minutes. Best 10 minutes ever. Starts slowing down, then the steering sticks, and the msc hangs up, pretty much done, slow circles. Then you flip it over and let the battery run "dead". And against all labeling, you throw the only battery pack you have ...

Re: TRX-1 mid
Hey thanks gentlemen. I was thinking about which body to run on this. I just dug out a TBG re-pop and trimmed it regular except for leaving the entire rear portion on. I just trimmed some clearance for some rod ends and the gear cover. It just looks like some stealth bubble pod back there. And I swa...

NIB TRX-1....Build it?
Ok so I was fortunate enough to score an NIB TRX-1 from a member here at a very reasonable price. Thanks. You know who you are. What do I do with it? I mean when I build it. I already have a from NOS parts shelfer, but building this one to run would be insanity. A race replica from bitd? Not enough ...

Re: Proof of Concept
20180517_200517.jpg With some shocks mounted up on servo mounts and the motor plate and 17.5 HobbyWing it'll be utilizing. Start it out with a 78S/30P with the factory 2.14:1 final drive...yields a 1.21:1. Is that math right? Driven ÷ Drive, etc. Yeah? So that's 1.21 motor spins for 1 wheel spin. T...

Re: The tale of 3 builds -OR- How projects multiply mysteriously
Well, phooey on that. In a strange way it's nice to see these getting broken on dirt.
Don't run a Thorp gearset on turf with the slipper locked out either. There is probably a quicker way to grenade a top gear, but I haven't found one.
Neat stuff JK.

Re: Bormac's TRX-1 runner - HELP

Re: Traxxas 1 (=TRX-1) [Ready to Race]
I just got the RPM front arms, but shimmed back like yours, I hit the chassis :( - but the bigger problem is the arms are longer than the stock TRX1 arms, making the front end too wide overall, almost a complete inch (20mm or so) wider than my other cars (legal width). How did you combat the width ...

Re: RC10DS - Pantera - Mid Engine Dual Conversion
I am an ignorant Traxxas guy and even I can see this DS build is off the chain!!!! I always thought of Pantera's as a poor man's Lambo, or a melt your face metal band. But this bad mambajamba is a melt your face super-build. Super tastefully executed. If you're like me, you carry this thing from roo...
