This buggy I plan on running in the Classic class. Pretty much a bone stock Falcon with the exception of Losi springs and HPI superstar wheels and J concepts tires. Same combo I ran on the Frog.
More pics as I get her finished up as well.

The Marui Galaxy RS I resto-modded for my brother had a similar issue with the wing screwed directly to the body (rollcage, in that example).
Couldn't you simply drill a few holes horizontally in your FRP reinforcement piece between the shock...
I just about finished this truck. I built it from a partially assembled but never competed or run chassis. I had to find the body, decals, sway bar, misc hardware, and linkage.
The body took many hours to complete. The paint is straight forward,...

Very nice build, and the blue just tops it off. Great work mate!
I've always liked the Tamiya F-150 body, since it was my first rc car (Blackfoot) and I've always wanted to do something out of the box with it....I've had this body for a couple of years, not knowing what to do with it, until I had...

It's robably the ish thing. Some folks only like factory original... Not me!
As usual, I start to customize a chassis but with unusual parts and my personal touch, removing of anidizing, polishing, and all screws are replaced by some stainless steel A2 ones
This chassis is TAMIYA TA05R.
I found parts specifically dedicated...

Finally the Super Astute is next in line for a re release

Back to Super Astute, slight reaming, AE B4 spur slips right on, uses stock SA slipper plates and hardware just fine with AE slipper pads that match spur. Now you have standard pitch to match rest of your pinions.
I have a Top force Rere on the way and need some inspiration. I will be intially installing aluminum steering bellcranks, aluminum front hub carriers and motor mount along with a steel pinion and Tamiya 50529 gears with a 13.5T motor. I do intend to...

Hello friends,
I recently purchased a TopFroce 2017 to re-live my previous life as a happy-go-lucky, skim-on-meals-to-save-for-that-trinity-motor, they-don't-know-what-it-means-to-dump-before-4mins, Boy-Racer!
Recently bought a hornet . At least that's what my untrained eye thought it was. Now, not so sure.
It has the wrong bumper, wrong rear shocks, a rear suspension third shock, chrome wheels and inside the battery compartment it says Made in Korea ....

Thanks for all the help guys
I cleaned the the Lazer up a bit, really wasn't all that bad.
Cleaned and re-oiled the rear shocks. Cleaned and re-greased the suspensions moving points.
I have ordered a resistor pack so I'll soon see if the MSC works....
This is a old SRB racer that I have been slowly restoring. It has some crp goodies and a thorp ball diff,Tamiya technigold motor and option house shocks.I have electronics just not installed yet.

I have plenty to show off..I'll get around to posting more up soon..
Ok So I've been on the site for a long time but have never posted anything about my King Cabs. I have a few of them. I recently got sick of the diff slipping constantly on my sons truck so I went for it and made some custom parts for it so I could...
I picked this up last night super close to home. It's super dusty, but it doesn't look like it was ever driven. If it was, it was indoors on carpet. I'll get the dust blown off today at work and see how nice it really is before the tear down....

Been waiting for along time to get my hands on one of these. Today was my day. It spent most it's life as the shelf queen of a hobby shop owner. It was displayed up off it's tires, so no flat spots, but age got the best of it anyway and they have...

That's a nice wild willy.. Repro tires are pretty good in my opinion. Shelf queen?
I have an '86 Blackfoot that I'm upgrading......I like the older stuff. I have an '85 RC10 and a '95 Losi XX. I've been looking for a Trinity rear sway bar kit or the CRA Performance version.......Been looking on Ebay and Amazon with no...

One of my favorite models. Those sway bars are harder to find lately only got a couple of them for my blackfoots.
Picked this up at my local racetrack last night. It has all sorts of aluminum goodies on it including the wheels. I'm trying to figure out which aluminum parts are store bought manufactured parts and which ones are homemade. Hoping some of you might...
By chance does anyone know if it's possible to adapt Bruiser wheels (the re-re ones shown in the photo below) to the 12mm hex drives on a RC4WD Trail Finder 2? After seeing this truck posted on ebay, I really want to lift my TF2 and install this...

I don't have a 3D printer, and probably not likely to get one, I just don't have enough use for it. Easy enough to get things printed and sent to me.
This is the first time I have shared this car with anyone. It is my highly modified Super Champ. Check out the gearbox! When was the last time you saw one of these? Hope you enjoy.

First of all, very cool build! I miss the old school off roaders!
Such a cool piece of history. That was also a pricy little buggy BITD and it's great that you've been able to keep it all these years. Racing in the 80's was cool. So many...
Picked this up at the track last night. No other parts came with it. The guys at the track were saying bruiser , but I don't think so. I'm not very informed on these old Tamiya 3 speeds and I've never actually had one in my hands until now. I...

Nice, I had one of these Kyosho bags that I used for my school's R/C club back in the mid 90s. Everyone used to make fun of it as it looked like a pizza delivery bag.
Had two of these in the late 80's. Loved those bags. I liked how...
I should have taken a before shot, this beetle was a mess and I wasn’t sure if I was goning to fix it up. It’s a frame up rebuild with a really good cleaning. This monster truck is 30 years old. I can’t believe how good it looks. My uncle’s been...

I've finally been able to fulfill a dream to build the venerable MIP 4x buggy. In 2004 I built up a chassis using the MIP 4x400 cable drive 4wd conversion kit. A bunch of period SRB hop ups and a homemade chassis.
Not really satisfied, I...

I really like the modded Frogs that bngiles and germanrc10gt built, so I decided to try my hand at one. I did want to keep it mostly Tamiya, only using the CRP front bumper and shock mounts (and some of their hardware, sold separately... :| ) and a...

I've had these thoughts swimming around my head for a couple of years. I've always wanted to combine a MIP 4-10 kit with a fully hopped up Rough Rider SRB chassis. I needed to do some R&D with parts to see if my idea would work. So before I start...

I just put in my preorder on their MIP site. Hoping there’s enough to make this push through
