This is a tribute to the great line of RC10 buggies produced since 1984-2009 (RC10 - RC10B4). This is a work in progress. It will take some time and help from fellow members, as we all learn new things about the different versions. So please be...

Question I haven't found a firm answer for... it seems some RC10's have much whiter Nylon than others. I'm not talking about dirt or oxidation/aging etc.. just simply as they came some cars had much whiter nylon. I know this because I was fortunate...
I am thinking about adding a B2 and B3 to my vintage RC10 collection. I'm still not sure yet.
What should I look for for the differences between the B2s and B3s :?: :?: :?:
Also, why do I not see any B2s around :?:
Please help, I know a fair...

G'day everyone
I got this 90 model rc10 alittle while ago now. I still havn't driven it yet, but before I do I thought that I would make some changes. I'm a self confessed veedub nut so I had to put a vw body on the rc10.
Since Bugle's RC10 from the...
Does anyone have any info on an RC10 conversion that came out of the Arizona area.....possibly from a company called Wizard Motors (or something like that)? From what I gather it had a 40 degree aluminum kick-up.
I'm venturing into the world on RC10 but I honestly have no clue. However it seems RC10 is fairly popular and many of the parts are still available to purchase and Team Associate seems to have a good support for these lovely vintages. I'm...

Thanks for the exploded view. I've picked up a couple stuff today but sadly he had to order the rest :(
Hopefully I can get the bearings cleaned up and re-oil team :D
I am offered this buggy for the equivalent of $170 (keep in mind that here in europe RC10's are quite a bit more scarce than in the US) - sounds like it's fully complete.... price seems a bit on the high side...

Thanks for the input
I had doubts - and as I JUST picked up a NiB FT TC3 this morning and am now strapped for $$$, I'll let this one go... unless price drops big time to $120-ish I think.
Got some questions reguarding using new parts on older buggies. I have seen build threads but would like to see something all in one place that has part numbers to go from the older buggy to the newer buggy.
What parts do you need to change out the...

cherokee, try PM'ing the particular project builder. I'm sure they'd be more than glad to help you out.
I can help you out with some B4 to B3 parts. You can put B4 rear hubs and cvds, and front castor blocks, axles and spindles on a B3 to run B4...
Hey guys (and gals)! My name is Gary and I have a problem. I'm addicted to RC cars! I really don't know why. My first car of any sort was a Tyco Turbo Hopper I got in 1987. I found a Tamiya Super Champ at a local swap meet and bought it because it...

I'm still having problems with my camera and this computer so I'll try to get the pictures uploaded later so for now I'll try to explain my project problem. I had a T3 roller and converted it over to a B3 buggy. Not done yet and still fighting the...

i think you should wait too. Based on both front and back arms, from shock towers and the rims, it looks like a goldpan to me. A snapshot w/o the body would help a lot. Goldpans rock, but it doesn't seem like it's what you are looking for.
guys here is my new purchase a very nice caddilac 6 gear lucky for me it had 6312 clear protective film on the bottom  (never even new it was an option),new unpainted body wing and driver,an imaculate novak t4, pretty puny little sissy...

This is my dads original rc-10. He tried getting it runing this past summer but found that it didn't perform as it used to. the slight flat spots on the tires and lack of oil in the shocks certainly contributed to that.
I swiped the car from him...

first off, i'm trying to figure out why you'd want to change, and run, a new built worlds car. :?
but anyways..........
b4 wheels will work on the front of the old rc10's. but they will narrow up the track width a bit.
Has anyone tried clear window tint/film to protect the bottom of the chassis? I think this stuff comes clear to protect the hood and bumpers of 1:1 size cars.

Did not a 4wd RC10 make it to the worlds final one year?
I would like to thank Rizzo and Scollins for the idea. I've been working on this for about 2 weeks now, mostly waiting for the rear tires off Ebay. It was a very scratched-up chassis, little sanding and cutting added the paint plus spare parts from...

What (if any) is the difference between an RC10 B2 and B3? I've seen similar looking cars for sale and some are described B2 , other B3 . I'm none the wiser..they look identical to me.

I just got a mild brushless setup and was going to try it in my 6 gear. It has the modern black idlers and full bearings, so I was thinking it would be fine if I dialed out some of the punch.
Any thoughts on that?

I'm new here. Back in the 80s, I was most familiar with Tamiya 1/10 electric RC, but I remember being enamored with the RC10 buggies of that era. It's just I could never afford one as a teen, and just ran my Hornet for a few years. I've...

That looks stunning I hope my one looks even just half as good when its done.
It's an oval chassis I run on one of my RC10s. I've had it so long I can't remember the manufacturer. It's more rigid and durable than anything else I have come across. It can be set very long which helps in hi-speed applications. For some reason...

For direct bolt-on, smaller on-road style rims and tires, you'll wanna go with those from the rc10DS. Ebay will be your best bet. If you want taller spoke rims, you can try to find hpi wide front 2.0 stars and 2.0 rears and mount up some custom...

Hello, I just picked up a nice gold tub with a early stealth tranny. If I am not mistaken, if you have a slipper then it is a stealth tranny right? Also the internal drive ration for all RC10 stealth tranny prior to the changing the buggy is 2.25:1,...

What is the going rate for a RC10 MIP 4wd kit these days? Just curious....i might have one hiding in my closet. Its installed on the RC10, but was only ran a couple times and I have the box and a new belt as well. Just a curiosity question.
