~72 hrs in a 3%, no sunlight. But did do a few heat cycles in a water bath (think heating up a baby bottle). Not sure if the heating did anything or just the time.
ok, since i saw some guys mention it, i figured i'd just start one. this is for completed cars only. if your building one, start your own thread in the rc10 forum. then, toss some pics and info from your build in this thread when your done with it....
as long as your cars have the correct buggy suspension parts, here's what to get:
duratrax bx front rims and nitro rear rims. they're 2.2's, so modern tires will fit.
then, get a set of mip b2 cvd's.
4 of these bearings for the rear hub...

in my experience the steel topshaft wears the aluminum idler which then takes out the diff gear. You can try to keep them greased, but also beware that the grease makes the aluminum powder into abrasive toothpaste.

These are the CRP/RCH shock clamps

Do the outdrive slots have any raised burrs on them from dogbone wear? That can make the bearings hard to press over the outdrive.
