Does anyone know if the .71 hard anodized shock bodies are available by themselves? No one seems to have any, and I can't find a part number. It's probably around and I'm just missing it.

if you are interested in threaded upgrades try these they are a direct replacement and still use the original .71 internals so they will not leak like tc3 shocks.
I have some vintage 3 spoke wheels winging their way across to the UK for me (thanks sharkman), I want to dye them black and put in some shiney stainless screws.
Can anyone tell me what sizes they are so that I can get some screws ready? Preferable...
Didn't Robinson make a 64 pitch internal gear set for the Stealth trans? I think father had a set in his carpet oval car. What was the final drive ratio with the 64 pitch gears??
I've always got the problem of the idler gears worn off too fast. Currently, TH do not have stock for them. As such, I thought of making them into aluminium alloy.
Would you guys go with stainless steel, steel or alloy?
Also, how many of you guys...

The stealth diff gear and idler gear are plastic.
Heres how to make yourself some steel idlers for the six gear.
If you have two extra dogbone drive gears for the six gear cut off the dogbone drive part with a dremel ang there ya go......works...
Hi guys,
I have a bit of a problem with my B3 slipper, after a lack of use I thought I would give it a run at the weekend at my local club on grass as it wasn't raining 8) , but no mater how tight the nut was the clutch would slip like crazy, the...

I recently purchased a NIP #6815 rear tire set. When I bought them, I assumed they would be an exact match to the original kit tires. However, these tires do not have “Team Associated” or the ae logo on the sidewall. In fact, there are no markings...
since i don't have any to compare, are the bones in the mip cvd kit for the rc10 (w/ 1/4 axles), the same lenght as the bones in the kit for the b2/b3 (w/ 3/16 axles)?
Hey guys! What are you using for shock pivot balls for the Team Cars? Are you using the newer Associated versions, RPM's delrin pivots or just finding new old stock on ebay? Which one do you like best?
Thanks!

I thought of building up a brand new sealth for my gold tub. Does any one of you have a instruction with pictures to share with me cos I've never build one before.
Also, is the trans for B4 the same as the older trans? I would prefer the B4's cos...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. :D I still have to finish the motor plate so I might as well do the tubes and wing mounts. :)
Hi to all.
I have picked up a RC10 that was conveted to Ascot Challanger Sprint car. All I know is it is an RC10. I am going to replace the front rims. Are the rims for RC10 and RC10B2, B3 and B4 basicly the same. I just need to get the correct...
claims that rear toe should only be corrected by changing the arm mounts, not the hub carriers. (Note that they stole the picture of the RPm 0degree hub carriers from my auction)
I know I have on the GT just reversed the hub carriers...

Hey guys, you never know. He might be an RC10 GOD on his planet! And scr8p is correct, 0 is 0 no matter how you get it.
yes.
Pitch is the number of teeth per inch diameter of the gear. the higher the pitch the more teeth for a given diameter and the smaller each tooth is.

So as I'm sitting here rebuilding my old Stealth tranny I see my tranny from my B4 is sitting off to the side......hmmmm.......anybody try to run the top shaft off a B4 in the old Stealth, so you can use the B4 slipper and spurs????
Last post
I just finished it and it seems to be a great fit (I just mocked it up quickly), if using the stock gear cover the shaft sticks out a hair further than the stock top shaft. The spur seems sit almost in the same position if not a hair closer inward....
I have 2 sets of RR front caster blocks, one 20deg, one 30deg. I was going to use them, butnoticed that they do not hace a spot for the camber-link ball end to go, and the king-pin holes are much bigger than the standard pin.
Did RR make a front end...
someone posted a link to a bearing supplier for the front wheels. They were cheap as heck.. $1 each.. Was it hoopty?? Can ya repost it? I can't find the thread:( Thanks

isn't it 3/16 x 3/8th??? I hope so cause I just bought a bunch:)
just as a heads up, the bearings in that link aren't for front wheels at all. those are the ones to use if your gonna convert your rear axles to 3/16 , using a standard rc10 buggy...
I am trying to adapt a set of Kyosho Optima wheels to fit an RC10 and was wondering if I could get some help with Kyoshos as I am not familiar with them.
On the back of a Kyosho Optima wheel is a recess for a hex nut to attach...

Hi Dr, you can use the plastic 6mm wheel hex but you need to drill a 7mm hole 3mm in through the side where the pin sets in. Only then will the hex hub sit on the pin and fit the RC 10 axles.
Hey guys, I have been lurking around for awhile now, post from time to time, just soaking up information. I am only 23 so I wasnt around back in the heyday of the RC10, so this is all new to me. The thing that impresses me the most is the incredible...

I don't think the TQ10 ever came with a rear motor guard, but black motor plate on a 6-gear tranny, that's unique!
I have MIP CVD's on both my Son's and my T3's. I have a 19 turn motor and I have a 10Turn cranking out the speed. The problem is that I keep shearing the roll pins on the axles. I was out running them yesterday with my son and both our right side...

Hi guys, I'm looking for the wheels and tires in the attached photo. Can any kind soul advise me on the brand and where can I get them. Also, will they fit to my original RC10 setup? Please kindly advise.

That's what I'm trying to accomplish like what Toymkr73 had mentioned; trying to use new sets of wheels and tires without changing the axles.... The HPI hex drives I use fit the 1/4 original axles, you don't need to change to B2 axles. You can then...
I ordered an extra set of tq20 rear tyres for $12, I received some tq70 fronts by mistake, I'm going to need some front tyres for my jps wheels will these fit and have I come out on the right side of this error?

In that case I wont bother sending them back. :D Thanks Shodog.

Does anyone know the hex size for the tiny screws that hold the bushing in the idler gear on the six gear tranny? None of the sizes I have seem to fit it, and I want to put bearings in it.

WOW lots of info on the 6 gear!
Funny, one of my smoothest (although least efficient) 6 gears is fully bushed. I added bearings to the drive gears and later removed them. I didn't replace the felt seals and retainers as this rig stays on the road....
I got this chassis in a deal.Anyone possibly know what it is??It's 6-gear only, and looks to be graphite with glass in the center.
Other than about 7 un-necessary holes,it's real solid, and can be fixed up.

Thank you, sorry I got a bit upset  , I should have known it would be a honest error and that you would make it right however I would not have named you in the general forum without giving you that opportunity. You have a pm., thanks.
DID THEY make a set of aluminum swing arms like the rc10 ones for the rc10T but longer?I have a set that are about half inch longer but seem to be same width as rc10 ones just more travel.DON 8)
I know there is a thread here somewhere on removing anodizing but I can't find it, please point me in the right direction, or give me the name of a UK product that does the job, thanks.
why are the wheel nuts and others called 8/32s and not 1/4? does anyone know?

An 8-32 nut is a #8 sized shank with 32 threads per inch. A 4-40 is a #4 with 40 tpi. The nut/thread size isn't ever measured by the outside dimensions because you can...

You will probably not find many companies in any segment supporting products this long. John Deere being one notable exception. They have stuff from way, WAY back in stock .
Is there such a thing as an AB chassis :? and what is it because I got one. I guess it was the chassis produced between the A and B chassis. I don't know if it shows up that well in this photo.

actually, it does match pretty well to the back of the chassis right above the 2 motor plate holes.
Ah, Associated saves another dollar by squeezing out another chassis from that sheet.
It also could match the end of a truck noseplate, I...
