Anybody have one of these? I see there's a sale on them at Hobby King. FLYSKY Noble NB4 AFHDS3 Surface Radio w/2 x FGR4S Receivers . I noticed that the one they have has 2 Recievers that come with it, just about everyone else selling them have only...

I have one, great radio. Build quality is good, and not just good for a Chinese radio but genuinely good. Performance is great, too. Low latency with tons of useful adjustment, and a really well laid out user interface.
I just found out that Bluebird Servo has a line of Helical Gear models. The only problem is they don't have any of those in a low profile configuration. Would there be enough room in an RC10 for a regular sized servo?

The linkage angles aren't as good but its doable.
Depending on the design of the servo and the servo horn, it may be possible to mount the linkage on the inside.
I was hoping to take my vintage losi xx-4 and give it a brushless motor / esc system. The hobbywing 10BL120 SD had good reviews for 4wd buggies. So this seemed like a good option.

I have 4 BL120's all are great and powerful for how affordable they are, I run iP lipo 6200mah 120c shorty under $60.00 with 5mm bullet connectors.

New to the lioo piece and I’ve got a question. I recently picked up a zeee 5000 mah 100c 2s battery. I’ve also picked up a cellmeter-7 digital battery capacity checker. It lists one cell at .033v and the other at 7.54.
This cannot possibly be...

Lipo's are very easy and nothing to worry about with a decent charger and once you know how to use them. 99.9% of lipo disasters are from neglect or improper use.

I have been looking at small high-speed servos lately to replace some of my older ones and I have a question. Why, in this era of Lipo batteries—which isn’t new, are servo manufacturers still using the 4.8v and 6.0v speed and torque standard?...

Airtronics servos are still as sharp as ever. Getting hard to find parts for them though. Airtronics 94145 is still the best 1/12 scale servo I have ever used.
Has anyone used any of the bulk EC3 connectors with luck. I'm referring to the packs available on Amazon and Ebay. Some seem to have mixed reviews but I wonder how much is just user error.
I've only ever used Dynamite branded ones. While they work...

It's not the sorta feedback you were searching for but, for what it's worth, I received a pack of these el'cheapo EC5 connectors today from fleabay.

Boost normally means increasing timing up to full throttle, so you essentially get more and more power as you squeeze the throttle.
Turbo generally increases timing beyond full throttle, so when your flat out it continues to ramp even more timing...

Hey!
I’m about to upgrade my 13.5t motor and ESC to 7.5t or something in that range. But I’m on a budget. About $100-150. Can I find somewhat good set of sensored motor and ESC for mod buggy class.

Never tried them (or any electric motor for that matter), but I have been looking around for what’s available to me, and the Hobbywing Xerun and Ezrun motors and ESCs are what I’m leaning towards.
EDIT: Oh, I assumed you were looking for brushless.
I have a 3140kv quad pole brushless motor which broke down. To fix it I put in a dual pole rotor. Any idea of what this does to the kv?

Thanks for your reply, but you kind of missed my question. The rotor parts came loose from the axle, so I put in a dual pole rotor I had laying around. Now I'm wondering what are the consequences of this swap.
