This brings to mind my CYANide car and the tires that are much smaller diameter than stock tires. I assume that, all else being equal, I'll have to move up to a significantly larger pinion gear to balance things out...an 8 or 9-tooth pinion and small-diameter tires will have tons of punch but the thing will be revving like crazy with a low top speed...aconsola wrote:I'm running my jrx-2 oval conversion with a 17.5t brushless.
The gearing I have is somewhere around 41/78. The foam tires are a bit smaller than buggy rubber though.
