well truck #6 (since thats what the trans has marked on it) is all done now that i found the stickers :)

I like that idea of leaving the body clear, but adding the stickers. I may have to try that out. Nice work by the way.

ya i have a couple like that i like to see the chassis. plus kinda lazy lately to paint the bodies :lol:

little update i spoke with adam drake and sent him a couple pics, and this is what he told me:
That's pretty cool! The one with the stickers on the center chassis brace was my truck. Lol. I helped with the development of those trucks. I think we used the trucks for the Silver State or Nationals many years ago. Have a great weekend!

As a huge fan of the XXX-NT this thread is awesome! I'd love to get my hands on one of those trucks!

I did some digging with help from the wayback machine! Also had some old photos of the proto trucks saved ff my old photo bucket account!

These are pictures of a strictly prototype gas truck that we are running at the Silver State Challenge this weekend in Las Vegas, NV. We are running these very early prototype gas trucks to test them under real race conditions. We have blurred out some part's of the pictures to protect some of the features on these trucks. Nothing has been finalized and there is no release date available. Again, these are just prototypes.

I wish I'd have know these would have been available! The truck that got me hooked on racing!

dont know who the rest of the drivers were at this time.

HA, I remember taking those pics on "the deck" team area and pixalating them for the web...wish I had kept the original images...that computer is long gone lol
