Beautiful trans ! I use this trans in my Jrx Pro runner and I have to agree with Asso-Man; its smooth. By far smoother than stock and smoother than the retro fit trans as well. It was easy for me to setup and has proven itself strong with no failures or issues of any kind on my lips/brushless setup. I just wish the were more of these things !!

Question about the timeline of this transmission: when was it available with respect to the Hydradrive? Would a Hydradrive have ever been used on this transmission, or is the MIP slipper simply superior/preferred?

Ok, maybe a dumb question, but I've never had a MIP transmission.
Do you need MIP gears, or can you use the AE gears?

Sorry it's been a while and I misremembered a couple of things. :oops:

The Changebox was advertised as a 2.61 ratio not 2.65 like I posted above. I got it mixed up with the RPM trans which was 2.65. A 2.61 ratio is still wrong though. 52t diff...

I am looking for a transmission for my project. The chassis is fitted for a stealth, but there are not many around at the time. I have seen a couple of MIP trannys around. What is the difference performance wise? And I think I know the answer to...

MIP trans came out during the time when AE was still making that old 6 gear trans for the original RC10, which mean before 84. The stealth came to the market at about the rc10 team car time, as far as I remember, which was about early 90s, probably...

I finally got ahold of a mip transmission for the losi cars. The case is a bit more of a snot green than a nice yellow, but it will do for now.

Hello all...tryimg to add B4 hubs and CVDs to an RC10 Graphite project. This car will be a car to actually race, hence updating the rear to run B6 wheels, which I have plenty.
Now while I have searched for required parts to do this...it doesn't...

I think I used B4.1 rear hubs and ended up using a Yokomo bone paired with the AE axles.

Also check NIXCONCEPTS as Niki has a bunch of modified gear for the RC10.
