truck rim question

Post by klavy69 »

First of all please forgive my stupid question. Last time I asked it I was given some faulty information and had to refund several sets of wheels before I stopped selling off my pile-o-tires/wheels.

What I have is a crapload of Losi XXXNT(?) wheels front and rears with tires that I was trying to sell but my question is....what other trucks do these wheels fit in the Losi family?

I need to make some space and $ so was gonna restart my f/s thread back up since its been awhile and would like to list the wheels for what they would also fit. Last time I was told that they also fit the JRXT which I don't think they did...can't remember for sure but think that was the one that I had refunded several sets for and don't want to go through that again.

Thanx for any info and help up front.

I can give a small bit of information:
The rear wheels will fit most, if not all, the Losi trucks from XXXT and earlier. However, that being said, the offset is different for almost all the trucks, so it depends on your definition of "fits". The front wheels will fit XXT and XXXT trucks, as they use a longer front axle than the JrxT. I can't remember about the LXT front axle length.

Thanx Matt for the reply. It might've even been an LXT that it didn't fit. Don't quite remember but just don't want to waste anyones time and my money because I said they would fit and they don't.

Mostly by 'fit' I mean they will work on that truck whether it be for a cheap set of tires to bash the crap out of or that you can physically bolt them on and they don't rub on anything or narrow up/widen the stance so badly that it can't be run rule wise at an event.

Like with Associated all trucks use the same offset wheels between the t and t4/gas and electric. Just had to worry about axle size. The brothers I got these from ran an xxnt and a rc10gt and swapped out fronts/rears between the 2. Just wish I didn't have to buy 80 sets of tires/wheels to get the 7 sets I wanted  .

About the only thing I can say is the XXXNT wheels should be good for XXXT. I knew for sure LXT and JRXT no go. But wasn't sure on XXT.
So got out a new set of XXT disc rims I have and went into inventory and grabbed a couple sets of XXXT XXXNT rims. They measure out pretty much the same for offset. I measured from the inside bearing stop for the fronts and the pin slot for the rears.

Post this a new post to make sure not missed. Clarify the fronts are the big problem for LXT.

I went a step further, cause duh, I have a XXT or 2 or more. Slapped on the A7055 front rims and they fit great.

Then put on the A7155 on the rear and they fit great.

Also tested again on the LXT, no love for front, rear is fine. Jrxt is not going to work at all for anything.

I just realized my error in saying that the XXXT rear wheels would fit most Losi trucks. My current JrxT runner, that I put XXXT rear wheels on, has LXT arms. At least now we all know. And knowing is half the battle!

Just to add...and probably confuse people a bit....Losi A-1022 "XXT front axles for the GTX" let you use XXT, XXXT & XXXNT front wheels on an LXT, GTX or NXT.

Now the XXXNT AD2 used different wheels as well, large hex in them for the 'quick change' wheels. Pretty easy to spot, they only fit the AD2 truck, not any of the other Losi trucks without some adaptors & work.

You are right. I always forget about those. I think it is because later they changed the name on the packaging when they became the standard XXXT and NXT front axles. So early packaging is different from later packaging for that part number.

So I now have a ton of the XXXNT AD2 Losi wheels. (The ones with the large hex.) I have the quick change set up for the rear, so I'm good there. However, I need the AD2 front axles so that I can use these on the front as well. Problem is, there seem to be a couple options that may (or may not) work. Here is what I know:

A1022 Front Axles for XXXT; do not fit the AD2 wheels.
LOSA1023 Front Axles, Steel: XXX-T, XXX-NT; I don't think these will fit the AD2 wheels?
LOSA1024 Front Axle, Steel: AD2, XXX-T CR.
LOSA1027 Front Axles, Steel: AD2.

Advice on which front axle will work with the AD2 wheels? Thanks for any help!!

LOSA1024 front axles work. Still unsure of the LOSA1027, but I have the information I need.
