I've recently had the opportunity to purchase two very nice XX-4's. The first one arrived yesterday. Here's some photos of it. I will be updating the thread as I rebuild.

I just ordered a set today. I may just continue reassembling and cleaning. Did you order the tough belts?

Yes i ordered the tough racing belts! I will work on cleaning parts on mine today.

Awesome! I hope they don't take too long. The second car I have coming has those belts installed, which should be here today.

Okay, second one arrived and is also very nice. I'll probably strip this one down, then rebuild one using both parts. The remaining parts will build the Heavy Metal XX-4.

Here's some progress on car #1

Pretty close to getting it done, but will have to work on it tonight. Looks nearly new! I wish I had a new front bumper!

Here's the car essentially completed. I have new rear gold shock shafts on order and still have to finish the tie rods for the toe-in (they are so tight! ugh)

Novak Atom on the way and from there it will be getting that and the batteries all soldered up. I'll probably need to find new wheels at some point, these are used on lightly used tires.

Yeah, I know same here. I need to reassemble the second car, but without belts it's pointless!
