I am currently looking to buy either the Losi 8IGHT-E 1/8 or the Team Associated RC8.2e 1/8.

Which do you guys think is better in terms or ability on track, off track and durability. Thanks,

This is a question that is probably better suited in a R/C Tech Forum, or similar. I doubt you will get many responses here.

Hi, welcome to the forums

Just curious if you are looking for a "Ready-to-Run" kit, or possibly something more economical based on the models you listed? TLR is currently on the 8IGHT-E 4.0 and Team Associated is on the RC8B3.1e, the kits you mentioned are offered in RTR only now.

Most 1/8th scale buggy and truggy kits nowadays are pretty much indestructible, I own the RC8B3.1e and can vouch for it's reliability, tunability and handling characteristics. Ultimately, for what it sounds like you are looking for either kit would fit your use case just fine!

I've owned a Losi 8IGHT buggy, an 8IGHT truggy and an Associated SC8, which has RC8 bones.
I did aan electric conversion on all of them and the Losi conversion is just light years ahead of the Associated kit!
Go with the Losi, I say.
