OK, thanks Groomi.

I don't know if there would be much interest in a full Iridium carbon set for these, but once I get into Dukomo production, maybe I'll have 1-2 cut and see what happens.

I'm shocked at how original the kit appears (in the manual at least). Down to imperial screws even. I can't wait to check it out in person.

Have a look at the online manual, they are releasing some carbon pieces- beat them to market with better looking pieces and you have a winner! Don't forget the trans side plates

That was my idea in talking about it months ago with Jake. I thought it would be cool to have some full kits ready for purchase when the cars became available. But I'm not financially stable enough to take a hit like that if they wouldn't fit for whatever reason. Although..... they would fit an original. So they may have sold anyway. I unfortunately can't move forward with any of it right now anyway.

My cars arrived just a few minutes ago...opened the boxes....looked inside...didn't take anyting out except the black tube with what looks like a certificate and pen inside.
Closed it back up quickly because if I didn't I would probably be building it right now
And they shipped it via UPS to Canada of course it had to go to the USA first just so I could pay the extra $108.30 in Taxes/duty/brokerage fees to come across the border.
I hate you UPS

I feel your agony. I just bought a $50 brake accumulator ball for the GN from an American seller who shipped with UPS. Not including the goddam exchange and shipping costs, I had to pay an additional $45 CAD in those bullsh!t "brokerage fees". The item was under 4 pounds and small enough to have easily shipped with USPS First Class.

There's a lot of Canadians who've been subjected to this ludicrous a$$rapery. :x

My first time dealing with UPS was about 10 years ago...I bought O2 sensors for my BMW from the USA..it was a great deal until the UPS guy showed up and wanted the extra cash...
I swore never to use them again...
Today just reinforced my beliefs to never use them again.
Just wish Schumacher would use Parcelforce to ship to Canada....just as fast or faster shipping and no extra charges :D
I just love the rerelease though...going to take all the stuff out of the box and look at how purdy it is.

nice, I am about halfway thru mine and it is very interesting to build. I question the order of assembly.

What are they selling the carbon chassis and pieces for? I'm curious how my prices compare

Yep, I ordered the option parts direct from Schumacher so that is what I paid plus UPS shipping (19 GBP) and exchange (1 GBP = 1.312 USD)

Delivery across the pond was very fast (ordered on Saturday, shipped on Monday and received on Wednesday)

EDIT:

Link to pricing from a seller in the USA (I think - I've never ordered from them before)
