You're right eco8gator those racing cars are made for running

But rarety of some model's parts combine to agressiveness of most modern tracks, makes me say none of my YZ10 would see a track

For modern tracks, I got a well prepared XX (in a possible vintage class) ; but my preference goes to modern cars (actually B6/B64) ... faster, more durable and so much more settings than my oldies.

But if one day I found the appropriate track ... 8)

I have a track about an hour away from me that is pretty much a jam fest. It's pretty much all jumps and it forces you to clear some really crazy stuff or you fill face plant the car. It did not stop me from having a lot of fun with my 94 YZ10 (aka The Tank). I will admit that I am brave with my car because I have 4 of them so rarity is not so much an issue for me.

With a 10T brushless motor you can clear some pretty big jumps and the cars durability is definitely up for any modern track. It is the D413 of the past.

Fortunately for me I have an on-road touring car track that is about 7 mins away from my house and has free public access. Lots of fun navigating that tight track. If I want to jam I have a skate part in about 100ft away from the track and yes my car has jumped some of those ramps:) I may work with a few locals one day to see if we can construct some nice light weight temp. jumps to add to the track. Its definitely a great track for vintage racing, you can be aggressive and not have to deal with clay/dirt tearing up the drive train.

Any more progress on the 92? Such a beautiful car that it would be very nice to see some runs in a nice controlled manner.

Here is a vid of me evaluating the suspension on my Pavidis. I love how agressivly I can turn in though I need to make adjustments to keep it from lifting the rear wheel

Nice car.

I just updated my Pavidis shock and ball diff settings and added a 10.5t novak brushless setup just like my other runner.

Car drives much better now. Thus car is definitely capable enough for modern tracks and electronics (not sure about the mod stuff though).

this was well worth the wait! Will you take it to the last of the SIORC rounds so I can drool on it?

It's truly a labor of love... 5 years...

I can complete one project a year at best... some have take 10, so no worries here, 5yrs is plenty acceptable ;)

Keep in touch about the 18/19 SIORC so you can bring that beauty one day! :)
