Re: A&L Optima Mid
Nice Mid, that's definitely not your everyday average Mid! I'm not sure if the trailing arm conversion is an improvement other than just being different, but it does look unique. I guess with a rear shock tower like that, you're rather limited with your mounting options. Like the other guys, I'm looking forward to updates!

I would very much like to build and race one of these fitted with what I am sure is an old Frewer LWB bony set.

Re: A&L Optima Mid
I like how the undertray mounts to the chassis...very cool. Sure beats slapping double-sided tape all over the bottom.

Re: A&L Optima Mid
That's an interesting looking body, can you give us a link to the TC page for more pics from different angles? Would they still be available to buy?

Re: A&L Optima Mid
I have borrowed these pics from the web (I hope the owner does not mind). I love the look of these cars and would very much like to see how these perform out on one of our loose dirt race tracks.

Hi Keith. I will have to phone Rob and ask him. Last we spoke he mentioned this one might be in the process of a TBG repro. I hope so!keithrc wrote:That's an interesting looking body, can you give us a link to the TC page for more pics from different angles? Would they still be available to buy?
Keith
Here's the link to Rob's TC page on his car.

Re: A&L Optima Mid
Hi Chris. There's just something awesome about the alloy trailing arm cars and none more so than the Optima Mid version. I would very much like to have one of these at some point and put it to good use on vintage days on any of our race tracks here on the East Coast.uzzi wrote:Hey Jason....how are things? unfortunately no as I have been busy renovating n moving houses so rc cars have taken a back seat. Wow thats a cool body - love the deep side pods and the kick up at the rear to flow air straight onto the wing. Great looking and functional too.
