Today I received the big parts lot. Rundown of the parts, now with pictures included:

NIP (long list...):
IMG_6329.jpg
- 2x KX001 spur gear shaft
- 2x KX002 drive pulley set (20T)
- 3x KX003 tensioner set
- 3x KX004 frame collars
- 2x KX005 motor mount
- 2x KX006 front shock stay type A
- 1x KX007 rear shock stay type A
- 3x KX008 Diff. Housing
- 4x KX009 Diff. Cup joint
- 2x KX011 Front sus. plate
- 2x KX012 sus. shaft KX-One
- 1x KX013 Universal drive shaft
- 1x KX013-2 drive shaft
- 4x KX013-3 joint pin set
- 1x KX014 front one way unit
- 3x KX015 one way cup joint
- 1x KX015-1 sponge for joint cup
- 1x KX019 4.8 mm stabiliser ball
- 3x KX021 knuckle plate
- 3x KX024 direct servo saver
- 2x KX025 battery holder set
- 1x KX026 plastic parts set (KX-One)
- 2x KX027 frame set
- 2x KX028 bumper set
IMG_6331.jpg
- 7x W6014 KX-One OSC Front universal
- 2x W6011-2 OSC Hard drive shaft (190mm)
- 1x TFW-001-01 C-joint (TF5/Stallion)
- 3x KXW02 front stabiliser set
- 3x KXW03 rear stabiliser set
- 7x KXW04 rear belt tensioner
- 1x KXW05 Racing Battery Holder
- 1x KXW06 one way universal shaft
- 3x KXW08 Aluminium motor mount
- 1x KXW09-1 low friction belt
- 2x KXW09-2 tension roller (for low-friction belt)
- 2x KXW30-82 Spur gear 82T (for 2-speed)
IMG_6332.jpg
- 1x Tech Racing high torque reinforced front one-way (never thought I'd see this one in person, it's about as rare as KXW10)

I think I got someone's remaining shop inventory here...
IMG_6333.jpg
Then there's a bag of mostly unused chassis frame, suspension, and drive train bits.

IMG_6337.jpg
IMG_6338.jpg
Then there's the KXW20 2x3 chassis that appears to be complete except for screws. The bottom carbon plate is milled for lowering the CG.
And then there's 95% of a car, missing screws and one universal and apparently having suffered a front impact that damaged some bits, plus two more aftermarket one-ways and a ball diff that are not for the KX-One (they're for the HPI RS-4 I think)...by the looks of it I'm missing just one ball diff pulley to be able to build a second car...

Price paid for the NIP parts lot + the chassis: about 200 bucks + 50 shipping.

Amusingly, despite this amazing buy I still haven't got the KXW-10 option...

Edit Sept. 20th: Meh...missing a variety of parts and some things make me think the 95% complete car clipped something or suffered a suspension related failure and was then used as a parts car. The saddle pack chassis is complete with some minor damage to the bottom, but I'm missing most of the ball diff, one universal, the belt, a variety of shock parts (one of the shocks may have a bent shaft too), upper links etc. Also looks like it was at one time equipped with another Tech Racing front one-way (I have the outdrives).

Close up of the parts included with the Tech Racing High Torque front one-way:
IMG_6350.jpg
It uses much larger one-way bearings than most one-ways and comes with machined bearing holders to replace the plastic stock ones.

I also assembled the 2x3 chassis as far as I could, using spare screws to keep things more or less together. There are a few screws missing, and some are the wrong size or not countersunk as they should be.

What is curious is how all the alloy parts are not actually anodized or otherwise nicely finished, which is very unusual for Kyosho, although it might fit in with the rumour that this chassis only saw very limited distribution with pilots affiliated with Kyosho.

Belt access is somehow even worse than on the stock KX-One, with the belt sandwiched between the carbon lower chassis plate and the front bulkhead:
IMG_6344.jpg
The part of the carbon side plates between the motor and the battery is a bit wider now, and also uses a sturdy alloy piece to keep everything together:
IMG_6345.jpg
The rear end now uses two alloy lower bulkhead halves to connect everything together. The rear bumper has been eliminated:
IMG_6347.jpg
Also eliminated is the alternate mounting point for the front belt tensioner and some carbon above the steering servo. It appears the KXW-11 alloy hinge pin mounts were actually designed with this chassis in mind, as the stock plastic parts need modification to be able to use the included 46 mm long rear hinge pins.

Next to my close-to-full-option KX-One:

I think a stick pack might still fit on the chassis. Now I have to decide: should I put the 2x3 chassis on my KX-One, or not?

Is that an aftermarket chassis? I saw that 1, interesting.

No, it is an official Kyosho optional chassis (option KXW20) that saw very little distribution (possibly Team Driver limited). It supposedly fixes the handling issues of the car by lowering the center of gravity: the battery is lowered by a few mm and the electronics can also be mounted lower. Obviously, it's also possible to use 2x3 batteries, and when using those batteries the front-aft weight distribution can be fine-tuned. The new chassis also uses alloy bulkheads in all of the original chassis' weak spots.

It's a bit similar to the 2-speed (option KXW30) in a certain sense: very limited availability, and a part number that is not in the usual range (normal options range from KXW01 to KXW11). I think Kyosho gives such numbers to parts that fall outside of the 'normal' set of parts, or denote a new 'version' of the car.
The 2-speed is also unusual in another manner: its design (and instruction sheet!) is partially shared with the 2-speed option for the Alex Racing Design Barracuda. This last thing could imply Alex Racing Design made the KX-One 2-speed for Kyosho...

Anyone know any place that still has some replacement parts? Just bought one from a local but it's not in the best condition.

Test fitting the parts before I buy the real Electronics the good thing is I managed to fit a shorty lipo, esc and receiver all within the center of the chassis. Still waiting on the carbon fiber side plate to replace the plastic ones.
