Optimas.

Post by BoostCreep »

Well I was just sitting here thinking about all the things that have happened in the last month or so due to undertaking
this project and thought I would share some of other things that have happened solely due to this rebuild.

I now have 3 Optimas (and a re-re preorder :D ) due to the fact that while looking high and low for ideas
and parts some other things fell in my lap.

Two of them are mids. One is a Turbo SE and the other?? Both are functional with the exception of a bad ESC on the
one. (parts on the way)

I believe I may turn the one with the mid body and wing on it into a shelfer. It's really been lightly used. Seems
it would be a shame to beat it up more at this point. Plus it has decent original tires.

So as usual I went overboard.

Question about this forum. Is there someplace where one could post about doing a completely custom car? It certainly
wouldn't qualify as a single manufacturers product or even all vintage. Just curious.

something like that would work in the "Other Makes/Models".

Odd that the Coors sticker is the Arizona state flag design.

Well not really when you consider the guy I got it from bought it as a kid when he lived in Arizona.

He now has a basically unused RC10 from the late 80's. Radio still in the box. Built but new. Nice. I told him to
keep that one just like it is. :)
