Mine was on the weight limit. I had to use weights at a few events. Here is my old 89 ZX thats been highly modded. Assoicated Shocks are great but Traxxas TRX1 were and still are the best shock that has come onto the market.

Picked this up yesterday on the bay. Just looking around not really wanting to spend any money. Then I saw this. No body, but I couldn't pass it up.

I dont see any extra holes in the chassis BTW. :roll:

here is one of my Lazers. Since my Lazer 1 is finished and i am witing for an body for it that ordered from kamtec (2 zxs shells) hade to do something and put on some different shocks and and front tower on this Lazer. The lazer 2 has composit craft...

Hi does anyone have magazine articles/reviews on the Laser ZX, I just picked one up in good nick and am keen to know and learn more about the car,
I can find information on the ZX-R just not the ZX.
Any help appreciated.

I have now used the ZX MK1 solution instead of the #197 part and it seems to work well. Indeed it is just to have the right space between the pulleys.
The shocks are LRP Big Bore from a LRP Blast but I do not really like them. Look nice but...

Hi guys,

Got 2 Kyosho Lazer yesterday. They're almost complete and basically in good shape... But I'm not such a Kyosho freak and I don't know exactly what i bought :)

Both cars are Lazers, but which version do I have? ZX-R, ZX-RR, ZX Sport? No...

Anyone now if you can buy or Kyosho sells just the tires for the Ready Set Lazer ZX5? I looked on there site and didn't find them (at least at Kyo-USA). I don't have the parts number on me, but can get them when I get home.
