Overall this has been a good truck. I’ve stripped the servo horn last time out but it’s all fixed and ready to go. The salt water at the beach has not been kind to the some of the metal parts but it gives it s nice rusty patina.

hello All,

I recently received a Traxxas project car and I had questions about the differences / similarities between the TRX-1, TRX-3 & Blue Eagle transmissions. Based on pictures I've seen, the trans that's currently in the car is from a blue...

The TRX-1 case has 'TRX' molded into it on the side opposite the motor plate whereas the TRX-3 case does not.
The TRX-3 trans also has a slightly lower CG due to the diff gear being closer to the chassis. I mean literaly you can almost see it...

I know very little about the crawling scene but have always wanted a bruiser or hi lift in my collection. While really getting lost on ebay tonight I saw this, thought it was kinda cool looking (aside from the awful body but I'm sure a proline lid...

When I entered crawler in the search it returned 52 pages of posts mentioning crawler.
Maybe we could have a section for scalers, foff, desert bugs, rockracers and crawlers?
