Uncles 1988 Monster Beetle

Post by BogataSteve » Fri Apr 06, 2018 1:06 am

I should have taken a before shot, this beetle was a mess and I wasn’t sure if I was goning to fix it up. It’s a frame up rebuild with a really good cleaning. This monster truck is 30 years old. I can’t believe how good it looks. My uncle’s been dead 20 years now it’s nice to see this thing up and running again. Needs ESC and part of the body mountings, that’s why the body is hanging low in the back. Might repaint, or not. Love the whip antenna.

New ESC and body mounts. Ran great, never was a great off-Road er but it’s fun to drive. It’s from 1988.
