Sharp looking car!Martco78 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2017 6:27 am Yes. Just completed a build of the re-release Hotshot (with a few custom parts) and comparing the manuals with the original most parts are pretty much identical and therefore interchangeable.
Have a look at the old and new manuals on line just to compare.

I used their products on my revamped Boomerang as well....
Re: My Vintage Hotshot 4WD
Got my hotshot apart, and slowly getting it back together.
Servo needs replacement. Found that out today.
The little red disks that go in the front arms are in tough shape too. Already replaced the front arms, hubs and top part of the chassis.
The right rear wheel now catches. About every 10th rotation or so. I think that it might be the dog bone moving. Happens when I use some larger aftermarket wheels--the factory ones seem okay right now. No load on the car at all--just me holding it. The other 3 seem okay.
I did test run it by hooking my motor leads up to another car. Seems to be okay.
Now I gotta figure out how to mount the body without having to buy that plate that the new upper chassis uses.
