Started with the basic idea of SRB, pretty much keep a tiny bit of SRB and some after market structural geometry. Plenty of custom made, CNC & hand made parts too.
Together also show my out of whack Mugen Bulldog lol
That looks like a build of the month winner , probably build of the year winner . Very tidy ,well done sir .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

I have the instructions tucked away in an inaccessible box. What was posted above are the instructions which are really rudimentary. Basically you need to play around with the placement of the front tranny which allows the dog bones to set in a...
Since it is not a secret that Tamiys is going to re-re the SRBs soon and a lot of SRB guys would not mind a 4wd conversion, I think we shall try to petition one of the aftermarket manufacturers to also develop a SRB 4wd conversion kit or simply...

Didn't the SRB 4wd use a speedo cable to power the front tranny. The ones I saw looked interesting but far from something I would want to invest loads of cash in just to have a unique piece. There's lots of other cars that interest me more. Just my...
I've had these thoughts swimming around my head for a couple of years. I've always wanted to combine a MIP 4-10 kit with a fully hopped up Rough Rider SRB chassis. I needed to do some R&D with parts to see if my idea would work. So before I start...

Blue and gold works so well... and that transmission is so mythical, this should clearly end in a BotY kind of final competition when done!
In admiration of 1300GT's 4wd SRB, I'm starting on my own attempt at building a similar car. I figured out a B4 slipper gearbox setup in this thread -
Now I'm mocking things up for the chassis. 2 3D printed replica MIP gearboxes, 3D Printed front...

Its virtually impossible to eliminate bump steer on a trailing arm 4wd car as the steering wants to be in front of the gearbox , whole thing is looking really good .
does anyone know exactly what kind of metal SRB parts are made from? like arms, front towers, tranny cases etc. is it a aluminum or steel? i imagine its like a aluminum, just poured?

good to know. i figured that with the tranny cases etc lol. thanks for info
Tamiya's rereleased their SRB diff with a new part number 54897. From the pictures it looks to be identical to the 84113 diff. At least the crazy prices these things fetch will stop....... for a while. :D

Thanks for letting us know. Sounds like nothing was changed. When I saw the new part number I hoped that it was going to be a new design. A diff with a bent through bolt like MIP or Thorp would have been great.
hello all,
I just made an intro in the RC10 Buggy forum and wanted to post some pics. of one of my SRB's.
I'm new to RC10's and need to take some shots of my 3 buggies / projects.
Look forward to being a part of this great site and expanding my...
