A VERY SPECIAL MRC BAJA KING BY A&L

Post by hugger19 »

This is a mrc baja king that was milled and raced by allec lane from a&l. this truck finished 4th in the dash for cash (here is the link to the issue it was raced) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1262049697157390&set=pcb.861809460611374&type=3 this truck also features a&l's frt/rear shock towers, a&l gear cover, a&l steering enhancement kit, a&l spur gear adapter kit and their upper control arm kit with heavy duty ends. i saved the frt tires they were in very poor shape close to squares lol i was able to stuff tire foam inside to get em round again :) the body was custom painted for a&l to use in magazine ads and to promote their mrc products.

not 100% sure i added those i know he ran peak performance motors. from the magazine it looks like one motor was ran either on top or the bottom. hes also sending me the missing rear dogbone. fingers crossed. well i just read in the magazine that he had 3 the 3rd one was bolted in to provide weight to the back end to gain traction. guess it didnt work to well since he finished 4th lol o well.

How similar is it to the Thunderking? Is it just body mounts and tires or is there more? Really want to build one but you only see the Thunderking's for sale.

The thunder king and Baja king were the same. Only difference was the body and tires. Wheels and entire chassis, suspension, etc are all the same.
