Some Jerobee/MRP new-old-stock kits

Post by GoMachV »

a Facebook friend of mine showed me pics of a couple MRP kits he found at an old hobby shop that has, in his words, "been going out of business since 1975" lol. He was able to wade through garbage and dog poop soiled carpet to find them. He then told me he bought them, and they had three more. I made him go back for em

The most basic kit, the Challenger, still has the tissue on the body. It seems someone stole the motor at some point but the rest is there. The GE cells look perfect!

The next kit, the Cobra II, is complete and only supported minor damage to the body over its 39 years in storage (assuming the price list is correct it was a 1978 kit)

The final kit is my favorite, the Alfa. According to an interview with Don McKay there were only 500 made without radio. It's in amazing shape with again just very minor body damage and rotten fuel tubing.

I can't thank Dan enough for nabbing these for me!
