Just finished RACO Jac-Rabbit

Post by bbbs53 »

I have been collecting parts to do this for a while now. It has parts off of several RACO vehicles including alloy rear arms, velocity stack, alloy bumper and new wheels and tires. The fron shock mounts were made by Chris at eyecit.net, he still sells them on ebay. The carb has been rebuilt and it runs like new. It didn't see much use. Another old one from the pile finished. Full size pictures can be seen on my TamiyaClub Showroom. https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=131892&id=1501

Looks great. Some nice rare hop ups on that buggy. Never knew what happened to josh. He was a nice guy. He sent me some rare Rothmans decals and a couple of cars several years ago. Most likely before ‘06

WHOA!

The original large-scale offroader... Long before the Traxxas/Graupner, the Cross-Control, or the FG... stunning

I love the old Paris-Dakar stickers :)

Very nice!

Large scale IC cars don't usually interest me but this one is stunning , well done , shame it will never run but I understand why .

That is the nicest Jac-Rabbit I've ever seen by far! :) You can really tell how much effort and pride went into it. I've always been interested in owning one myself but could never justify the prices the beat down worn out junkers go for on eBay.
