ya, it should be. i used my last new ones on this worlds graphite build. i found a couple used one laying around, but someone used too long of a screw on them and the backs of the clamps are poked out.

The last type of 6474... with the separate spring hat that goes under the clamp.

As far as the aluminum screws for shocks and front wheels would 4/40 x 1/4 work? If so got both.

4-40 x 3/8" are the ones. Time to buy some blue screw kits and soak 'em in easy-off.

edit: 3/8" for the wheels and older style clamps, the three part clamps are supposed to be 5/16", but I've never seen those in natural aluminum...

Not to hijack your thread but here's a pic of mine and as I've said before its without the correct chassis so someday I'll find the right one and it will be complete.

Draggin' up another decade old thread.

I'm in the process of trying to sort out a lot of my builds. This one has really just sat around, not completely finished. Now, it's just dirty, little oily from the shocks leaking a bit, some rusty hardware, etc. There is also some parts I used originally that were wrong that i want to fix. So at this point it's time to tear it back down, clean the parts, and put it back together.

I had a nice Reedy Ultra mod in this, but i need it for another build. So i decided to do this up like a stock class racer. I still have a new Green Machine 2 handout motor from a track I raced at back in 94-95, so it will fit in this car just fine. The Novak Racer will find it's way back into the car, along with this Polaris receiver. Not totally sure about the use of the 1400's. I was still using 1400's at the time, but i was young and still in school at that time. No money to be buying scrc packs. Being as though it's a stock motor, i think it'll be OK to use them. Not exactly sure what i want to do for a servo, but i have time to work that out.

I completely forgot that the Racer esc and Polaris receiver are going to be used in an upcoming B1.5 build. I had a nice, late HPc set aside for this car. Just needed a rewire. So i did that yesterday. I'll just have to keep my eye out for an NER-3fm receiver for it. i have one, but unfortunately, it's pretty beat up.

HPC certainly a more period-correct choice :)

All-black looks are good, interesting mix of worlds and team parts!

The Hammer and Racer would be ok in a late worlds car. Next ESC up would be the Tempest, and that debuted with the b2 at the 95 worlds.

When I do the rebuild all of the wrong parts will be replaced. Shock hardware, steering knuckles and axles, etc.
