HEY! CAMEL GT! I assume from the old Columbus GP..... those were the good ole days of IMSA (grew up going to all the races in Florida, Sebring, Daytona, Miami GP, West Palm GP, etc.)
My wife wants the Michelin man sign.
Like the Datsun PU too. Nice!

The CGT banner is from the last Columbus 500, but I've got a stack of event programs for the one after that, that they cancelled so they could do Ameriflora (Amerihorror) instead. International Money Spending Association... Remember, Al Holbert died flying out of Columbus in 1988... and his dad just passed away.mrlexan wrote:HEY! CAMEL GT! There's a video floating around... there are less cars now, all the VW's and one of the Citroens are gone. Need some pinball machines?

Actually Belgium built AK400, yes it sold, I still have the Charleston until the spring time. Can't really sell those in the winter. Unless you want to take it someplace warm?Mannekenpis wrote:No pinball machine for me but did you get rid of the (B) Acadiane or the Charleston?templeofspeed wrote:

Re: "technicolor vomit" graphite car (updated)
Just waiting on batteries... My old 2000's (and 1400, 1700) just wont cut 6 min quals and 7 min mains... I dug up a CO27 motor that was in a lot of 1/12th stuff, and will likely put in my GM V12 ESC, just because it's German. Assuming there's enough stock buggies to have a class... I'll race stock, but for mod I can put in any number of old Tri-Sonic or DS mod motors if I have to. I experimented with some different rear springs (on the bench) including blue truck fronts. Seems that green rears are the best. The blue truck front springs in the rear would be awesome for the first round of qualifying...carloco8 wrote:Hey temple, be sure to hit us up with a track report after you get the chance to run that bad boy
Re: "technicolor vomit" graphite car (updated)
How much more stood up are the rear shocks with the truck tower? I might do the same to my runner, mill down the chassis and slam the shell
