scr8p's 91 stealth build

Post by scr8p »

Figured I would get this thread started. I'm still gathering parts so it will be some time before any "real" progress happens. But first, I just want to thank Jake and Niki for all of the time and effort they have put into this deal. It's gonna be cool to have it sitting up on the shelf one day.....in 2019.

So here we go, parts spread out on the workbench.

This one is a little bit different though.....

And a couple of the parts set aside for it so far...

So that's it for now. Stay tuned..... :)

Jason, you are welcome. I really appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to travel to the VONATS with my built car to show it off.

We all know we will probably never see this one completed though.... :P

What's up Sean?

I'm gonna try and get this done in a timely fashion, but I just have too many projects going and only have so much money to play with.

I hear ya on that one. I've been putting my build off until I get most of my parts acquired. Everything is sitting in a box for now. The battle for the correct parts for these builds is tough and pricey.

Finding 100% correct parts is a challenge! :|

So with scr8p's slow pace, he may just do fine as parts turn up! Funny, I have seen great eBay bidding wars for certain items lately! I know because I was one of the bidders!

My wild guess is that he is not doing Masami's replica. Since Slotcarrod is already doing Lett replica and Jason already is doing one Cull replica I hope we will see something different maybe Vehlow, Furutani, Drescher, Kloeber or Kinwald replica.

Those 30-degree kickup parts are just 8) .

Nope, no Masami replica for me. Already have one that isn't finished. No Cliff Lett replica either, already have 2 of those that are unfinished.

I see a trend............... :P

Not much to update, but I did get a nip pair of the roar wheels. Unfortunately, I noticed a couple weeks ago that my tr-32 tires are for the 30 series wheels. So I'll be looking for the correct ones.
