Re: VAE's 91 stealth replica & runner V2
Well, drilling the holes was pretty much a disaster lol, good thing it's not an original.
I used tape to line the holes up, and a caliper to make consistent spacing. The marking went well...
And then came the blindfolded drilling...
After all that shiz, I realize that none of the hole are where Brian used his I looked at the spacing between the front battery tray and the upper deck and that tray is definitely in the stock position. Then I got to looking at the edge of the chassis and the rear corner of the back battery tray and realized what "needs" to be done. The tray is just forward by the width of the holes What to do, drill more holes? For now it's taped to the chassis.
Now I finally have a measurement for the strap. I think I may have to get Jeff to help me out with this one. I have a couple of 12th scale chassis to play with, but...

Re: VAE's 91 stealth replica & runner V2
Scr8p's 91 build has made me realize that I need to update my build thread. I also need to update my gallery thread and possibly post some new build threads too.
Here are my updated photos. Body is stickered up and some electronics installed. I have a correct servo being refurbished and I need to source a motor. The standoffs are being seen to hopefully. The last thing I need is to fab that battery strap.

That's strange, I can see them. I'm using google photos as a host. I'll have to think of some other method of posting photos via the net. Resizing them is always a way to go, but I figured they were already online so it would be easier.
