Championship Edition Owners!

Post by DaveM »

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a CE box with a different end label than,

6010 $225.00
COMPLETE KIT
Less Radio, Batteries And
Electronic Speed Controller.

OR

6011 $230.00
COMPLETE KIT
Less Radio, Batteries And
Electronic Speed Controller.
W/Bushing Stealth Trans.

But not 6035, RC10 Team Car,

this is to help Rod with the 25 years of RC10, with the Championship Edition model numbers.

I need solid proof, a picture of the end label, please!

:)

I snapped a few shots real quick of my 6016 CE kit and posted them here: https://duckhead.smugmug.com/RC/RC10Talk/ and also included a few shots in the thread. Let me know if there is something more specific you want.

Hi Mark,

Could you take a clear pic of the 6016 end label of the box?

It looks to be,

# 6016 $290.00
Complete Kit
W/Ball Bearings
Less Radio, Batteries And
Electronic Speed Controller.

I have a # 6010 and now your 6016,

I believe there are also # 6000, # 6012 , and # 6020.

Rod only has # 6011 as the CE Edition, in the 25 years of RC10.

I am looking for documented proof.

:)

That's awesome! I just was trying to figure out what my 1st RC10 was and from that link it must have been the #6016 kit... What a great kit at the time...

From what I understand. The original RC10 evolved into the CE using old RC10 part numbers about when the Team Car came out. It was then considered an entry level car!

Hi Guys,

Hi Rod,

I read that somewhere as well that the CE Edition was considered a entry level car.

90 to 91 CE, was a 6 Gear car?

# 6011, 1992, was the updated CE with Stealth?

:)

I think the '90 team car (and graphite) got the stealth before the CE, so the CE was the base car and got it last, in '92 I presume?

From what I understand the #6035 Team car had the ATC transmission advert on the box in 1990:

Hi Jimbo302,

Looks like the CE was to use up the left over parts?

I wouldn't know, but that makes sense, considering the number of stealth drilled chassis I have seen with six gears in them.

I still love my 1990 6 gear, CE.

It is the only one I have the box for.
