Graphite Battery Strap

Post by Ucsdmutt »

Does anyone know if the Ultima RB6 battery strap will fit the original RC-10 battery cups? I really want to replace the plastic straps and I need something small to fit a shorty pack.

Not sure if the kyosho are compatible but if you need something special made I can help. I have lots of options, just let me know your goal. I’m NOT a fan of carbon for the battery strap but I’ll make em (G10 is an insulator and much safer)

This one is popular, and I have it in a shorter length.

What I wish I had was the Jconcepts Foxy, the only ones available now are for the B5 and looks too big to fit the RC-10. It doesn’t have to be graphite, fiberglass or G10 would work. I’d reall like two. If this is something you could easily fabricate I would love to pay you for it, as long at it is not too expensive...

That looks awesome, I’m just worried that it may be too long? In fact too short would be better. Ideally for me overall length would be 2.5” or shorter.

I made it the same length as a shorty pack in the cup but you probably don’t want it to tuck into the bulkhead...i hadn’t considered that. I can make it any length you want

2.5” overall would be perfect, any face will work :D if you are going to toss the one you made I could totally use it on my B4.2? I’m currently using the graphite Team Factory one at the moment...

Beautiful work! Do you work for a Factory Works?

Yeah Kelly is “local” to me, and one heck of a nice guy. He bleeds USA and does stuff the old way. I love visiting and hearing about the old days
