You can get bottom load .71's in gold. But the shocks you have are correct for the car. I actually question the tower. Usually, the 6 gear graphites have a 4 hole tower, not the later 6 hole. So either it is a later one and it was simply a running production change, or maybe the original was damaged and it was replaced with a 6 hole tower. Either way, no big deal. But the shock are correct. Just put them in the bottom row of tower holes. They'd be there on the 4 hole tower too.
I figured the only way to get a coffin chassis RC10 Graphite is to have a replica chassis made. Since I have an extra later model RC10 Graphite in nice condition, it seems like a good option for the making a coffin chassis style buggy.

I decided which one gets the skeleton chassis and 48p Thorp 6 gear setup.

I got this off of ebay ~3 years ago. I have been running it everywhere since. I thought, since i have destroyed the body, that it would be nice to clean it up, buy a new body and photograph it. I have cleaned it up, put it back together, and am...

The new traxxas plug is a good plug no dout... But for a RC10 I would use deans. Thats just my 2 cents :D
This will be my first time building a new in box rc10 in about 30 years. I am building this up with a graphite chassis I picked up and didn't have a specific build for.

Here is a photo of it where it’s going to stay.
I have located a body for this. I’ll leave it like this for a bit and get the body on it when it’s time for a decor change.
