GoMachV’s A&L Short Arm runner

Post by GoMachV »

Finally got caught up enough to build a runner from my parts bin. Fresh rebuilt 6 gear (rockin a new set of OG white idlers  ) smooth as can be! I did update the chassis just a bit, it’s 1/4” longer to accommodate a lipo pack and bolt in servo. The electronics consist of a cheap metal gear servo, Orange Rx, Duratrax speed control (couldn’t bear to waste a T4 on it) and a GoolRC 21t motor disguised as a Trinity.

Can’t wait to shake it down!

I’ve had the parts sitting cleaned and ready for quite a while, so assembling them didn’t take long at all 8) I’ve just been so busy I haven’t had time to.

Thanks Dennis! That was the goal. If I want modern I’ll run a B6. Old school is more fun 8)

Andy’s Renegade. They are a good fit for both the chassis and the wallet

Andy is selling them currently, so I just told him to put me in line and I didn’t care what scheme. That’s how it was bitd, you bought what was on the shelf at the hobby shop. Plus it’s fun to be surprised.
